| RIGA produced their worst performance of -the season when
crashing 3-1 at home to relegation threatened Wessex in a National League
clash. The Warwick side, without the injured Mike Percival, were soon 6-1 down in the first set and although they rallied with captain Tom Young serving five points in a row, they lost 16-14. Wessex took the second set 15-10 but matters improved in the third set which Riga won 15-13 after a controversial refereeing decision brought a red card for the Wessex captain.
