| RIGA went down to a 3-1 National League Division one defeat
against Polonia in London.
Polonia won 15-5 5-15 15-5 15-8 but suspended Riga skipper Tom Young was not too dismayed: "Sitting this one out made me realise how close we are to being a truly successful side in Division One. We must take our chances, but I have been saying that all season." Riga's season winds up with a home match against bottom club Sheffield at Warwick's St. Nicholas Park Leisure Centre on Saturday (6 pm). |
