RIGA are aiming for a top four finish in Division One of the National League when the new campaign starts at the weekend.
The team, who finished a best-ever sixth last season, were disappointed with their final placing after a poor second half to their league programme.
Mark Fearn has joined from Leicester to bolster the defence and add his wealth of experience to the side, and there are other signings in the pipeline.
"We're looking at a top. half finish with a place around the top four as our target,' insisted captain Tom Young. "Training has been going well - there has been plenty of hard work and plenty of focus on the important to get us right for the season."
"There'll be upsets aplenty this season and I want us to be on the giving: end. of those."

Riga's women's team face a much tougher task after securing promotion for the first time to Division Two when they will have a battle simply to survive.
Coach Martin Warman said: "I'm confident we can survive but it'll .certainly be a big test for us.!
The team are hoping to sign an Italian junior currently studying at Warwick University and skipper Lynette Purkis added: 'We're keeping her under wraps at the moment but she'll be an important signing for us if she comes. All. the girls are excited about next season and we want to do well."
