Warwick Courier, 6th October 1995
| NEWLY promoted Leeds visit St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre to
take on unbeaten Warwick Riga in a National League Division One fixture
tomorrow (Saturday) starting at 6pm. Riga have beaten Solent and Liverpool in their opening two matches. Leeds have also won their two openers, and the contest should be a good test of both sides' new-found eminence in the top division. "We want to show that we've arrived" said Riga skipper Tom Young, "and beating Leeds would send that message. All games at this level are tough, but we're upbeat about our prospects, for this match, and for the remainder of the season." |
