It may be the end of the season, but don't hang up those trainers just yet!! The Club's own Wolston tournament is on Sunday 13 July. To enter a team please contact Chris Nasan, the tournament organiser at chris.nasan@rigavolleyball.com.

RIGA CLUB AGM - NEW DATE
Due to the AGM not being quorate it has been rescheduled to Thursday 31 July. It will be held at Wolston (for directions see the venues link on the left). The AGM will start at 7.30 (with volleyball outdoor before hand). Be there to have your say in the Club's future. Please let Michele know if you can make it michele.peryer@rigavolleyball.com. 2008/9 SEASON - NEW PLAYERS WANTED!
Whether you've been playing volleyball all your life or are relatively new to the game - Riga would love to hear from you! With four national league teams (a womens and mens in Div 1 and a womens and mens in Div 3), a vets team, a junior team and plenty of social volleyball there's something for everyone! Due to the success of the Club its rapidly expanding and we'd love to hear from any new players or any old players looking to re-kindle the love for the game. GREAT DAY AT NOTTINGHAM TOURNAMENT DESPITE WEATHER!
Riga put a mixed team in this year's Nottingham tournament. The sun was shining as we all left home, but by the time we arrived in Nottingham it was not so bright! Riga finished 9th out of 30 teams and had a great day despite the weather! Read more about the teams successes by clicking the headline.
RIGA ACHIEVE VOLLEY 1 ACCREDITATION
Riga volleyball club hasbeen awarded Volley 1 accreditation this week by the English Volleyball Association (the sports governing body). The accreditation is a mark of a quality club that is equitable, friendly, inclusive, well run and safe. The Volley 1 accolade comes after continued efforts from volunteers involved with the club - its now great news for all our members who will all benefit. Well done to all of you!!
