Bartosz (Bart) hails from Poland and has joined the team. He's a super passer so having a go at libro for the 2008/9 season. He's also the reserve setter though so watch those fingers! |

Tom Young

Young Tom! is one of younger players of team - a 4
hitter like his dad and equally as vocal! He has played in the England Cadets and West Midlands
Under 16s squads and is now a regular first six player for the team. With both father and son playing
together it means two Tom Youngs on the score sheet which often causes
confusion!

Bobdan is yet another Polish player joining the team for 2008/9. Bobdan has been playing through 4 but has tremedous blocking skills, so he's going to be having a few run outs through middle this season - watch out those opposition hitters! |

Steve Price

Chris has joined Riga for the 2008/9 season after transferring from Solent SGTV. Chris is already familiar with lots of Riga players often joining the team at summer tournaments and having lined most of the W2 home games for the last two seasons! |

Peter hails from Germany but he is currently studying for his PhD at the University of Warwick. Peter's blocking skills are second to none, so he's a natural middle player for the team. |

Pete trains and plays with the mens' team and when he's not doing that he is also Riga's resident photographer. Pete supports the club taking some great photos of the games and sending them in for publication on this website! It would be a text heavy place if it weren't for Pete! Pete is currently injured so taking a break. We're looking forward to Pete returning later in the season. |

Rodney just can't get enough volleyball with Riga this season! He's not only coaching the ladies second team with Ginny, but also helping out Mens' 2 as and where required.
