Riga Women fall to Cleobury in straight sets

Warwick's Ladies also failed to live up to the promise of last week, falling to Cleobury in straight sets. "It was a case of too many players off form together," said coach Martin Warman afterwards. Despite coming close in each of the sets, the team made too many errors to be in any real contention. Their tenure in National League Division Two now hangs on their last game of the season which takes place on Sunday at the St. Nicholas Park Leisure Centre, Warwick (2pm). The match against Tameside is one they need to win to be certain of security. "Tameside beat us three-one earlier in the season, but we didn't play well then either. If we can hit form, then I feel confident. Otherwise whether we stay up depends on other people's results and that could go either way," said Warman.
