Riga lost the first few points but when finally settled never looked back with some fabulous hitting from Celine Haederli and Chloe Walkingshaw the Tusker’s block didn’t know what had hit them! Michele Peryer then ensured Riga took the first set 25:22 with some solid blocks.

In the second set Riga didn’t give Tuskers a look in and led all the way. Riga’s passing unit could not be unnerved by the Tuskers serve, and setter Lisa Purcell had found her range providing a number sets to the middle for Anna Wojdala to power through, Dulwich went down 25:18.

Riga started the final set determined to finish what they had started and win the game 3:0. Tuskers had other ideas and came out fighting taking a slight lead. Riga trailed by 2 points for the majority of the set but kept positive and never let Dulwich take advantage. Haederli went back to serve at 21:22 down and with some powerful serving and a fabulous block from Walkingshaw showed Tuskers just who was in charge. Michaela Maixnerova sealed Dulwich’s fate with a storming hit through the middle to take the game 3:0.
