Riga's women's team also return to League action with a trip to Leeds on Saturday in the next stage of their National League Division Two survival bid. They too will be without a key player. Captain Lynette Purkis damaged an ankle in training and will be out for a month. "Leeds is a winnable game for us, especially after we played so well to beat third-placed Cambridge a fortnight ago" notes coach Martin Warman. "Lynette's injury is a big blow for us but I'm sure the rest of the girls will rally round to win this one for her."
