Riga Ladies all but secured their place in National League Division Two next season with a three-one victory over Solent on Sunday. Despite a third set wobble, when they allowed Solent back into the game, Riga dominated throughout in their best display this season. Dawn Woolmer was outstanding and a fit again captain Lynette Purkis was inspirational in the victory. A win in their next match on Sunday at the St. Nicholas Park Leisure Centre, Warwick (2pm) against Cleobury will clinch security. "I was very proud with how the girls played today. On this form there's few teams in the League we need worry about - and Cleobury shouldn't be a problem," said coach Martin Warman afterwards.
