Christmas Party 2008
19 December 2008, Clarendon Arms, Kenilworth
19 December saw a record number of Club members descend on the Clarendon Arms in Kenilworth for the annual Club Christmas party! As we heard from Michele on the night, it all started when four of us went to Harringtons on the Hill one Monday evening and Michele started talking to a random stranger...as luck would have it...it turns out that the Clarendon Arms is Harringtons sister pub and had a handy function suite upstairs and a set Christmas menu AND was free on 19 December!
After drinks downstairs at the bar (and narrowly avoiding a round of pub golf) the Club members were treated to a three course meal followed by tea, coffee and mince pies. We could take our own music and Steve kindly played the night away! It was a great night to catch up with all the teams and to celebrate a good first half of the season for the Club.
Bring on the next Club get together....rumour has it that it may have a strictly come dancing theme!!!
